How A Healthy Kidney keeps your blood pressure stable

Blood pressure is controlled by the kidney, the heart and the brain.

Each of these organs have a major effect on how blood pressure rises or falls.

Today I’ll focus on the kidneys and how they affect blood pressure.

The kidney is a bean shaped organ located at the back just above the waist. It removes waste products from the body. It has many other functions. One of these major functions is regulating blood pressure

The kidney isn’t the only organ that influences blood pressure.

Blood pressure is also affected by the heart and the brain

The heart controls blood pressure by influencing the heart rate.

To truly understand how the kidney is able to do this let’s find out what blood pressure actually means?

Blood pressure is a measure of the force with which blood flows through blood vessels.

To understand this just imagine water flowing thru pipes. As long as there is no blockage the water flows freely but once there is a blockage more force is needed to get water thru the pipes.

So why is a bean shaped organ so vital if all it does is regulate the amount of blood that passes thru a vessel?

It’s role is very important because it makes sure we have just the right amount of elements always and all waste products are removed. It also makes sure we have enough fluid in the body.

The kidney is constantly removing waste products from the body. This helps us have just enough fluid and

If waste is not removed , it will stick to the walls of the blood vessels and block them and stop blood from flowing properly.

How a healthy kidney keeps your blood pressure stable
Do you know that your kidneys, heart and brain have a huge effect on the way your blood pressure goes up or down? How does all this affect blood pressure?

I want to start with the kidney.

A kidney is an organ shaped like a bean. Its main function is to remove waste from the body, but it has other important functions like regulating how much blood goes through your blood vessel.

Think of the water running down a pipe. As long as nothing gets in the way of the pipe, the water runs free. Once it’s blocked, it takes more force to get the water through.

Your blood vessel is the pipe.

If there’s any blockage, you need to force the blood through. If force is not used to push blood across the ship, blood will not flow. This force is called BP. In medicine, it is important to measure the strength of the blood circulating in the blood vessels.

Then why is that bean-shaped organ vital if all it does is regulate the amount of blood going through your blood vessel?

The kidney does not only remove waste, but also excess fluid. This to make sure that your body always has the right amount of necessary elements.

If there is too much or too little of any element, over an extended period of time, means that you have an illness.

Each person has two kidneys. One on each side of your back, right above your waist. It’s the size of your fist (That’s your fingers and palms tightly folded together). When the doctor says your kidneys are in great shape, it means your kidneys are maintaining the right amount of pressure needed to remove waste from the blood.

The kidney removes waste from the blood and body through a process known as filtering. This process takes place in a small part of the kidney known as the neoprene. How does it affect arterial pressure?

If the waste is not removed from the body, it will settle onto the walls of the arteries and block the blood flow. When blood circulation is stopped, the blood will not be cleaned properly. If the blood is not cleaned properly, it stops the release of the hormones necessary to keep blood pressure stable.

A healthy diet enhances blood pressure and kidney health. That’s why the food you eat is very important because it can make your kidneys healthy or unhealthy.

Did you know that your kidneys can affect your immune system as well?

The immune system helps the body fight illness. The stronger it is, the less you risk being ill. Removing waste from the body helps your kidneys remain healthy.

The harder it is for your kidney to clean up the waste, the easier it is for you to get sick. A low immunity makes it easy for you to get sick.
